Gas Packaged Unit Tune Up in Johnson City, TN

Removed debris from exterior panels and metal transition to the home. Scrubbed stubborn stains with all purpose cleaner and scrub brush. Rinsed exterior panels and metal transition. Waxed exterior panels and metal transition with UV resistant spray wax. Cleaned and washed outdoor condenser coil with a water hose. Removed side panels from the unit and fan top. Removed debris from inside the unit and unit top. Scrubbed inside the unit top and fan blades with a scrub brush and all purpose cleaner. Rinsed with water. Waxed inside the unit top and fan blades with UV resistant spray wax. Cleaned out all cobwebs and bugs from the side panel access doors. Wiped the inside of the panels with an all purpose cleaner and a microfiber cloth. Dry cleaned indoor evaporator coil with coil whisk to remove any dust from the exterior of the coil. Sprayed evaporator coil with green Evap-C coil cleaner using a pump sprayer. Rinsed evaporator coil with clean water using a pump sprayer. Flushed the drain line for the evaporator coil with a flexible snake and foaming cleaner. Then, flushed the drain line with 2 gallons of clean water. Removed burners for the furnace and scrubbed them with a brass bristle brush to remove any rust or oxidation. Cleared burner orifices with a small scrub brush. Cleared orifices to draft inducer motor and collector box with a small brush as well. Checked contactor coil ohms and confirmed that they fell within standards of 10-20 ohms. Checked run capacitor readings and confirmed they were within specifications. Verified gas pressure and adjusted to within manufacturer specifications. Unit was overfiring due to excessive gas pressure. Increased the blower motor speed to fall within manufacturer's specifications on temperature rise. Unit was exceeding the manufacturer's specifications on temperature rise before the adjustment of gas pressure and blower speed.
